Description
Sooyah. Sorry for spamming my gallery with endless pictures of NaKaranth, but he is by far the easiest character I have to draw, and, since he's an alien, I can conceivably get away with drawing him wearing almost anything. This was mostly a colouring practice for me, so I was trying to use more depth and shade than I normally do, and I also worked on a bit more detail (particularly on the clothing) than I normally do.
Oh, and the lineart took ridiculously long to finish, since I only used a superfine pen on this one, and not my brush pen. I also went a bit nuts with my new metallic gold and silver paint pens (which I love with all my heart).
This pic is also heavily influenced by Enya and Loreena McKennitt.

But glee, this pic is awesome! It's all shiny and filled with pretty colours. And there is never enough NaKaranth (although your other characters may be jealous of all the attention he gets).
This makes me realize that I need better art supplies... *shamefully stows away broken crayons*
